(Erie County, N.Y.) – The United States Chamber of Commerce (USCC) endorsed Chris Jacobs for New York’s 27thCongressional District on Wednesday.

“In difficult times, we are reminded of the importance of having leaders that understand the genius of the American system of government and free enterprise and who are willing to tackle the hard problems that confront our nation,” USCC CEO Thomas Donoghue said. “As we take on this pandemic and work to not just reopen our economy, but return to growth, and expanded opportunities for all Americans, we need leaders, like Chris Jacobs, who has a proven track record of legislating responsibly and standing up for good policies. The U.S. Chamber is proud to lend its endorsement to Chris Jacobs and looks forward to partnering with him in the future.”

“I am deeply grateful for the Chamber’s endorsement. I have been a small businessman for over 18 years and I truly believe they will be the driving force of our region’s comeback – especially as we defeat COVID-19 and the challenges it has created,” Jacobs said. “In Congress, not only will I be working to support struggling small businesses, but I will also be focused on promoting policies to foster a better environment for small business creation, such as rolling back burdensome Obama-era regulations. I greatly look forward to working with the Chamber in Congress so Western New York’s future is prosperous for years to come.”

Jacobs has also received the endorsement of United States President Donald Trump, Republican Leader Kevin McCarthy (R-CA), Republican Whip Steve Scalise (R-LA), Congresswoman Elise Stefanik (R-NY), Former Congressman Jack Quinn (R-NY), NYS Senator Patrick Gallivan, NYS Assemblyman Mike Norris, and NYS Assemblyman Angelo Morinello.
