Endorsement adds to list of significant local and national leaders supporting Jacobs Candidacy

(Erie County, N.Y.) – Today New York State Senator and former Erie County Sheriff Patrick Gallivan endorsed Chris Jacobs’ candidacy for Congress (NY-27).
“I have known Chris Jacobs for many years. He is an honorable, right-minded and dedicated public servant who cares deeply about our community. I have enjoyed working with Chris in the NY State Senate, fighting on behalf of our region and honoring the trust of the citizens we serve,” said Gallivan. He continued, “I am beyond confident Chris will take these same qualities to Congress and is most well-suited to serve as our voice in Washington.”

He has been a strong conservative fighter in the Senate, and has been an excellent and dedicated colleague as we have worked hard to benefit our region and our constituents,” said Jacobs. Jacobs was endorsed by the Republican Party to run in the Special Election (NY-27) on April 28th, 2020. He has also been endorsed by endorsed by Rep. Elise Stefanik (R-NY), House Republican Whip Steve Scalise (R-LA), and House Republican Leader Kevin McCarthy (R-CA).
Prior to serving in the State Senate, Jacobs was the Erie County Clerk. Jacobs is the founder of Avalon Development, a local real estate company. He is also the founder of the BISON Scholarship Fund, a local charity that assists children to attend private and religious schools throughout Western New York.
