(Erie County, N.Y.) – New York Republican Assemblyman Mike Norris (AD-144) endorsed Chris Jacobs this morning for New York’s 27th Congressional District.

“Chris has been a strong conservative voice in Albany for the priorities of Western New York and has consistently advocated for the needs of our region. Now more than ever we need an experienced, dedicated, and hardworking individual in Congress who can fight for all of us in Western New York and help build up our region. Chris is the right person for the job and I believe he will represent Western New York well,” Norris said.

“I am beyond grateful to receive the endorsement of my well-respected colleague from Western New York, Assemblyman Norris, who represents parts of Niagara, Erie and Orleans Counties. It has been my pleasure working with him in the Legislature; he has fought tirelessly for Niagara County and our region in Albany, and I deeply look forward to continuing our partnership when I am in Congress,” Jacobs said. “Building up our region will require hard work and dedication from state and local officials and having his support makes me excited about the future of Western New York,” concluded Jacobs.

On Tuesday Jacobs was endorsed by United States President Donald Trump. He has also been endorsed by House Republican Leader Kevin McCarthy (R-CA), House Republican Whip Steve Scalise (R-LA), Congresswoman Elise Stefanik (R-NY), Former Congressman Jack Quinn (R-NY), NYS Senator Patrick Gallivan (SD-59), and Erie County Sheriff Tim Howard.
