(Erie County, N.Y.) – New York Republican Assemblyman Angelo Morinello (AD-145) endorsed Chris Jacobs this morning for New York’s 27th Congressional District.
“It has been a pleasure to serve with Chris in the Legislature over the past three and a half years. Chris and I have represented some of the same communities and he has been a great partner in government, and a true public servant. Chris has always gone above and beyond to do what it takes to get the job done and help his community,” Morinello said. “I have no doubt he will be an excellent member of Congress, and I am honored to offer him my endorsement,” Morinello concluded.
“I am honored to receive this endorsement from my dedicated colleague, Assemblyman Morinello. It has been my pleasure serving alongside him in State Legislature, and I have deeply enjoyed our partnership in serving some of the same communities. He has been a true, hardworking fighter for Niagara County, and our region, and I look forward to continuing our partnership when I am in Congress,” Jacobs said. “His endorsement and support make me even more confident we can bring a new era of prosperity to Western New York.”
On Tuesday Jacobs was endorsed by United States President Donald Trump. He has also been endorsed by House Republican Leader Kevin McCarthy (R-CA), House Republican Whip Steve Scalise (R-LA), Congresswoman Elise Stefanik (R-NY), Former Congressman Jack Quinn (R-NY), NYS Senator Patrick Gallivan (SD-59), and Erie County Sheriff Tim Howard.
